Purebred Great Pyrenees puppies expected 9/14/16 and ready to go 11/10/16! These are southwest Iowa farm dogs, working daily as our family and homestead guardians. Excellent temperament, great with animals and small children. We are small owner breeders, not a kennel. Our dogs are never penned or tied up. Pyrs are our only dogs, and they have run of the farm. Parents (Sheriff and Sally) are beautiful examples of the breed from long working lines. They do an excellent job and we have not lost a single animal to a predator since first bringing Sheriff home as a puppy. We have not shut the door to our chicken house since he came to us at 10 weeks old, and have not lost one chicken----and we are in an area thick with fox and raccoon. They are also trusted with our free range meat rabbits without an issue. They will not so much as let a buzzard fly over our farm! This is a versatile breed, and we have placed previous puppies as full time guardians, full time pets, and everything in between. This litter is priced at $750----$250 is to be as a non refundable deposit via paypal, and $500 in cash when puppy goes home. This includes up to date wormings, first shots, sample of the food that we feed, and health record so that your vet knows exactly what puppy has had. Puppies are reserved in order of deposits. We are located about 1 hr 45 min from KCI airport in Kansas City, about 1 hr 20 min from the south edge of Omaha at Bellevue, and right at 2 hours from the west edge of Des Moines at Urbandale.
